Mrs. Camille Vélez-Alamo is the coordinator of the overall Community Cancer Control Outreach Program (CCCOP). Mrs. Vélez- Alamo (1) provide day to day coordination of Outreach Core activities, (2) oversee and assist the CRCS Study Coordinator during the implementation of the Outreach research study and project staff, (3) work with the co-leaders to ensure that team efforts adhere to set timelines and priorities, (4) provide support in Outreach evaluation activities.  She has a Master in Sciences in Research Evaluation of Health Services at the Graduate School of Public Health, University of Puerto Rico. Mrs. Vélez-Alamo has experience in evaluating and supervising research projects from conception to completion. She has conducted evaluation studies for government, educational institutions, and community based organizations in Puerto Rico in primary care, mental health and cancer control and prevention. Her research interests are in program evaluation, cancer prevention and chronic diseases among the elderly population, among others.
