A new summer research program funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the Cancer Prevention and Control (CAPAC) Research Training Program, will be hosted by the University of Puerto Rico Comprehensive Cancer Center. The program will recruit participants from all racial/ethnic groups and cultural backgrounds to participate in a hands-on research experience in Puerto Rico. The CAPAC Research Training Program will provide trainees with seminars and workshops, a stipend, and support for travel, housing and research activities.
