Introduction to Cancer Control Research. This course is organized into 21 lectures targeted to offer undergraduate students an introduction to different topics related to Cancer Control Research, among them: Introduction to Research, Parts of a Scientific Article, to Cancer Surveillance, Community Based Participatory Research, Evidence Based Practices for Cancer Control and Behavioral and Social Science Research. Students are able to obtain 1 to 3 credits hours per semester by matriculating in BIOL 4990, a course in the UPR- Rio Piedras and Bayamon Campus, Natural Sciences Faculty.
